In this 3 month cohort, educators will get ongoing support as they dig deep into topics that will transform student learning with support from a coach and their colleagues along the way. With an emphasis on culture, student engagement, student agency, project based and place based learning, assessment and building future ready learners, teachers will be able to create meaningful learning experiences that can be implemented right away.

Learning outcomes:

Learn flexible instructional practices to continue to leverage technology for deeper learning

Develop engaging lessons for students that integrate face to face and digital learning

Build Teacher Leaders and grow confidence through implementation to demonstrate impact on student learning and outcomes

Design and carry out a personal action plan and a portfolio to model evidence based learning

Profile of a Graduate Cohort

You’ve designed a profile of a graduate, now what? Inside this cohort, educators will learn how to bring this shared vision to life in their classrooms. They will learn how to design experiences that support the development of future-ready knowledge, skills, dispositions and ultimately switch to a learner centered environment.

Design learning experiences for students that are aligned to desired outcomes in the profile of a graduate

Be able to confidently implement new strategies and practices that will support the learning model that will help achieve the profile of a graduate

In this cohort, educators will dive deep into a step-by-step project based learning (PBL) process full of strategies, practices and resources so they are able to successfully design and facilitate a PBL experience in their classroom. 
This cohort will also help educators rethink current teaching practices to support students in developing the knowledge & skills that are needed to be successful in today’s rapidly-evolving world.

In the productivity Hive, participants will dive deep into Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and learn step-by-step how to get started with these tools to confidently utilize them in their role. Participants will also learn how to use these tools to save time, take control of their inbox, organize their digital workspace and more to increase productivity. 

Learning outcomes:

Confidently use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 Apps in their role

Learn how to save time and effectively communicate

Gain strategies to organize their digital workspace

Be able to effectively collect and organize data

In the Level 1 Google Certified Accelerator, educators will explore the core areas of Google Workspace for Education to grow leadership skills, increase efficiency in the classroom, and impact student learning. Participants will expand their knowledge and skills in several tools in Google's Level 1 curriculum, all of which are taught within the context of meaningful use with students and teachers. Segments include an overview on many tools such as, the Chrome browser, Google Classroom, Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Spreadsheets, Forms, Gmail and more. 

Learning outcomes:

Understanding of how to leverage the core tools included in Google Workspace for Education to create impactful learning experiences

Effective seamless integration of technology into the classroom to support student learning and increase efficiency
